| Bobby, Charlton and Mountain is a fiction story of a football - mad family. The story is centered on the female character Charlton (Charlie) whose family avidly supports and participates in football. Charlton’s brother Bobby has a Down’s syndrome. Bobby has been chosen to present a bouquet to the Queen, when she visits his special school. He is desperate to wear a goalie kit for this special occasion. Charlton is determined to help him get the goalie kit and she writes a letter to Bobby’s favorite goalie, which turns out to be a surprisingly successful approach. |
